Vérteskozma

A tour of the town itself is a short but meaningful programme. Almost every house in the village has been renovated and is a real gem in Hungary.

Nature walks

The interesting thing about Vérteskozma is that the road to get there is a pleasure drive. When the driver slows down and you want to get out, it’s good to take a good look around. Well, you can really do that on the outskirts of the village.  It is compulsory to park your car in the village, and from the car park, there are a number of hiking trails to enjoy.

Majki remeteség

Majki Hermitage

Majki Hermitage is an Orthodox Christian hermitage. The hermitage takes its name from the village of Majk, which is located in the Central Transdanubian region of Fejér County.

The Majk Hermitage is a religious community whose members live as hermits, i.e. they lead a secluded life of seclusion from the world and strict religious practices. They follow the Orthodox Christian tradition, and there are several prayer houses, chapels and buildings on the site that serve their religious activities.

The Majki Hermitage can be an interesting place for those interested in Christian religion and religious retreat, and offers an opportunity for quiet contemplation and religious practice in beautiful surroundings.
